SECTION 1 – WHAT WILL WE DO WITH THE DATA YOU PROVIDE US?

When you carry out a transaction on our website, or log in to our application,  we collect personal information such as: name, email, cell phone number, address and, in the case of events and donations acquisition, CPF.

When you access our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol, IP address, in order to obtain information to help us learn about your browser and operating system.

The emails you will receive from us refer to the content you have chosen to receive from us, information about your transactions and participation in events.

SECTION 2 – How do you get my consent?

When you provide personal information such as name, phone number and address, to complete: a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, or wish to comment on an article on our website with your Facebook account, for example. After carrying out actions, we understand that you agree with the collection of data to be used by IBVA.

Access to your account on our website is through a login and password of your sole knowledge, or through authentication through your social network account.

The data requested by the app serves to allow you to access exclusive content that we offer with your consent, or to comment on our articles using your Facebook account.

And if you want to withdraw your consent, how to proceed?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Once you leave our website or app, and are redirected to a third-party app or website, you will no longer be bound by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 5 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Your data will travel encrypted by SSL certificate.

We do not store credit card data on our website or app. Credit card data are processed through a payment gateway authorized by the acquirers (card operators).

SECTION 6 – COOKIES

We use cookies. Cookies are small, simple text files that websites store in your browser to save your preferences and settings.

For example, when you first access a website that uses cookies, this website sends a text file with your preferences to your browser, such as: Region you are accessing, your email address, language chosen, colors, products you might like based on your research, and so on.
